Do you know what it means? Amazon is getting ready with a larger screen kindle. It would be 9 inches. An perhapes, that is going to target textbook market. Would it be kindle 3? We don’t know yet; but e-book market is going to be very competitive in a very short time. With the purchase of Fictionwise, B&N is also going to show their mussels. For amazon, it would be difficult to win in the textbook market if 9″ kindle can’t hit the market on right time. Before the launch of kindle 1, amazon first developed the content, and at launch, it started with 80,000 e-books. Is amazon doing the same this with textbooks now? If so, kindle 3 will be in the market before the fall semester this year.
