Comparison Between News Covering Nook Launch and Nook Being Sued

B&N sued over nook design by Spring Design
As you can see from the two graphs the launch of nook on Oct 20 has created a massive surge of news articles that died out two days later. Some unique features of nook, and the guessing game of competition in e-book market with kindle made the news hot over net. When the news of Spring Design’s sue against B&N over nook hit the net there was again a surge of news articles; but it was not that massive compared to nook’s launch. Does it reflect any perception whether nook will be really be out by November 30? Not sure. Remember, Spring Design wants temporary or permanent injunction on nook release. This news broke in fact one day later after people see the court filing. Still there is a cloud of confusion what’ll happen to nook. See the earlier post for detail.
