Ereaders are Hot Gift Items This Year
abcnews TechBytes reports that three million of eReaders have been sold this year alone. There is a video report as well with the news that you can watch on the site. The report mentions about kindle, sony reader, and nook which is yet to reach in the hands of eBook lovers.It reports:
Convenience doesn’t come cheap. Sony’s least expensive e-book will set you back $200. The kindle runs $260.
But price doesn’t seem to be a problem, at Barnes and Noble, they’re lining up for a look at the “nook.” The $260 device is still on pre-order.
Amazon aslo reports today a high sales of kindle (including kindle content) though sales figure has not been disclosed. Regarding sales figure amazon always maintain secrecy for some WILD reason. Here is what amazon says today about kindle:
