Yes, that true. We’ve found already the demonstration of Spring Design’s Alex as an eBook reader with built-in web-brower has dual screen one is eInk and other one is LCD touch screen. There are two other models we recently discovered – those are not specific to eReading like the iPhone/iPodTouch. Yes, still people are reading more on iPhone/iPodTouch even though they don’t have eInk screen. What an irony! Now it seems tablets or mini-tablets are getting popular. - Dual Screen: e-ink and color LCD
- e-ink screen: 6″, LCD: 3.5″
- Full browser capability over wi-fi, 3G, EVDO/CDMA, and GSM
- text and multimedia: text can be dynamically hyperlinked with multimedia for the color LCD screen
- There will be removable SD card
- Currently in discussion with content providers
- plans to release the Alex device for selected strategic partners by the end of this year.
