How to Use Facebook & Twitter on Kindle?

First you need to upgrade your kindle to version 2.5. Then follow the steps:

  1. Go to the Homepage of Kindle
  2. go to Menu/Settings, then choose “Social Networks” and click on  “Manage”.
  3. You’ll be directed to the browser and asked to enter user information for your Facebook account.Similarly, do it for Twitter. You have to confirm that you want to allow Kindle access to your account by pressing the ‘Allow’ button.
  4. Open a Kindle ebook, and highlight whatever you want, then look at the bottom – you’ll a message: “Click to end highlight, Press Alt+Enter to tweet/share, Press Back to Cancel”. If you want to share/twit don’t click to end, rather press Atl+Enter to shate the highlishts. You’ll be given a box to enter your comment in 100 words like the one below: 
  5. Press ‘Share’ to save and send to facebook and twitter.

You can also share your existing highlights and notes. Just follow the instructions:

  1. Open the book that contains the note or highlight.
  2. Press the Menu key and select “View My Notes & Marks.”
  3. Highlight the item you wish to share in your Notes & Marks.
  4. Press Alt + Image of Enter key on kindle Keyboard. on the keyboard to share.

This article is helpful – and can you also explain how to remove the “Message shared” message that remains after you share a highlighted excerpt via FaceBook/Twitter? Thanks!

I found that the only way to remove the message is to do a full reboot any time it shows up:
