WSJ Reports Amazon Tablet is Coming in October…What About Kindle?

WSJ reports that Amazon will release a tablet in October. The detail as follows:

Better yet, the WSJ’s insider offers some spec details. Previously we heard that two different devices were on the way, codenamed Hollywood and Coyote. Coyote, the less expensive of the two, was rumored to be based on the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform, while Hollywood would use the new Kal-El quad-core processor.

While it’s uncertain if there are truly two tablets on the way from Amazon, the source says at least one device will have a nine-inch screen, run Android, and will not include a camera.

Tablet or Kindle: What's Amazon's Priority?

There are some remors floating for some time that Amazon is going to release an Android Tablet soon. The speculation is based on the Amazon’s decision to open android app store.

Samsung Galaxy Tab as an eReader

SlashGear got it’s hand on Samsung Galaxy Tab – a 7″ touch screen tablet which runs Android 2.2. According to SlashGear:

There are a lot of Android tablet PCs promised to come by the end of the year. Already you can find different China market websites within the price range $100-$200.
