- You can search the meaning of a word using in-built-dictionay, or wikipedia, or google
- You can share your favorite part of the book on facebook and twitter (without compromising reading)
- You can read PDF document, change the orientation, zoom-in, zoom-out
- Kindle can read for you if you don’t want to read yourself (text-to-speech & voice guide)
- You can browse web much more efficiently with new webKit browser

As a Christmas present i was bought a kindle 3. i think its an excellent device and i can’t wait to start reading books on it but first i have to read my other books first! i was wondering whether the internet is available on the kindle so that i can go on facebook or something else. could you please help me! thanks…:)

Yes, you can go to web using Kindle’s built-in browser. However, it’ll slow. Try to use mobile version.
