What Can You do if Your Nook Freezes?

  • Force turn off the Nook.
  • Press the Power Button and hold for 20 seconds, then release.
  • Power up the Nook by pressing the Power button.

If that doesn’t work, try fully re-charging your Nook. The battery might be completely drained.

Thank you soooo much!!! i pressed my power button on and it worked!! Turns out i turned it off when it was installing updates… anyway thanks soooooooo much and could i request a question? How do you cancel a purchased not payed nook cover?? Thank you in advanced!!! :)

thank you my nook color was frozen for 4 in a half hours until i finally looked this website up and the 20 second holding was extramely helpful thak you :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

OMG, i’m so happy my nook color is un frozen!!! I had downloaded a bunch of samples of books and it got frozen!! I held the power button down for like 20 seconds and it turned completely off! And then every thing is now good!!! :) happy reading~
